Do you wear a new face
And you have turned off your senses
You bleat that honesty, civility and consideration for others
is passe
And that scurrilous acts of prominent people should be overlooked
Acts such as
Boldly lying without a thought of consequence
Verbalizing hatred
Diverting the people’s treasure to cronys or imbecilic schemes
The list of travesties stretches to the moon
So many have discarded
the values of civility
Compassion for others
Refusing to acknowledge what is right or wrong
Listen
Can you hear the People
They know of the greed and mendacity
Of Leaders, Educators, and prominent business people
Be aware
An accounting is coming
