I say neither

For what I seek can neither be found

Upon a table or on a shelf

As I travel the road

The sun is bright and warm

You look about

Everything

Stands out clearly

Nothing is missing

Detailed, finite and unending

I can see everything

The road straightens

I am led to a portal

An apparition that I am

Allowed to witness is before me

A canopy

That stretches from one side of the road to the other

It exists as far as the eye can see

The colors cover me

Greens yet to change

Yellows as bright as the sun

Oranges, reds and russets

The hall mark of fall

All interwoven

By the celestial artist

To bring solace to a troubled world

This is the condiment that I seek

That satisfies my wants

Of warmth and peace

This one to share with everyone
